LEAVING EDEN, by Bruce Odland

Recorded in an acoustical marvel in Western Colorado, called "The Tank', an abandoned water tower with a 20 second echo, LEAVING EDEN is an audio journey of the love and loss of a beautiful blue green planet. Conceived as a cautionary tale, this spiritual and musical tone poem was recorded by Odland and fellow Tank adepts in a series of location recording expeditions.

Samples, loops, and tracks at 136 bpm, of 50 of the most unique instruments in The Field Museum’s collections, which were used in the Millennial exhibition "SOUNDS FROM THE VAULTS". Instruments include Jade Flute, Javanese Bass Drum, Friction Drum, Ocarinas, Rattlesnake Rattle, Bronze Drum, Tibetan Horn, Nigerian Talking Drum and many more.
